Today I looked out the window and saw the peach tree has started blooming.

It’s a bit hard to see in the photo so I got a close up.

Sarah wanted to share some photos of the peach blossoms of the trees my great-grandfather cultivated but the comments section won’t allow attachments so here they are: aren’t they beautiful? I wish I had them here.

On my way to the peach tree I caught the first signs of blossom on the pear tree. It’s probably going to burst tomorrow.

What else did I see in the garden?
The fig is developing leaves.

I also spotted an iris I didn’t know we had. The blue is so pale it looks grey.

The new plum tree has more foliage…

…and our thornless blackberry from the old house is funally showing the first signs of growth in its new home.

Spring is definitely here an the garden is enjoying it, though it remains to be seen how much it will enjoy the dry summer forecast to come.
