It’s been a strange week, the first of two waiting to hear about my job. It seems we’ll find out some time on the 16th, but in the meantime we’re jut carrying on.
One piece of good news, I got my scan results and the oncologist call my condition ‘stable’ at this time. One of yhe lymph nodes they’re watching has minimally increased in size, but two others have decreased, on of those by 3mm. So that’s good to hear. So far as the medical side are concerned, the next step is another scan at the end of January.
I do have an appointment with the radiation oncologist next Tuesday and I’m not sure what he’ll say. It’s just possible he’ll say the that everything being stable makes it the perfect time to do the radiation treatment but then again he might also say wait for next year. At least it’s just a phone appointment and I don’t have to travel all day for it.
But it’s another weekend, and the fist in awhile without busy activities planned so I’m hoping to focus on craftwork. I’ve finished crocheting myself a hat…

…and now I’m trying to complete a jumper requested as a Christmas present by my 9 year old son who has no idea how big an ask it is. I’ve found a quick pattern and it’s going well. He chose the colour, a mix of greys. Here’s where I’m at.

Finally, a hair update. It’s growing slowly. And oddly it is forming something of a mohawk, tall in the middle and flat on the sides. No idea why.

I don’t think it shows up well in the photo, but at least you can see it’s gradually growing back.
